For grown-ups
A calm game built for young players
Cookie Garden is a cheerful, single-player activity with simple goals, friendly art, and no chat, accounts, or player-to-player contact.
What children do in the game
Players bake cookies, make choices about upgrades, notice number growth, complete short timing challenges, collect visitors, and care for a magical tree. There is no combat, scary imagery, competitive ranking, or social pressure.
Accounts and communication
The public game does not ask children to create an account, provide a real name, post content, or communicate with strangers. Progress is saved in the browser. Optional save export creates a file on the player’s device.
Advertising approach
Cookie Garden is intended for children and families. If advertising is enabled, it is configured for child-directed treatment and non-personalized/contextual delivery. Ads are kept away from the main cookie, characters, navigation, timed tasks, and other frequently used controls. The game does not reward ad clicks.
Healthy play
The game continues producing cookies automatically, so rapid or constant clicking is unnecessary. Missed encounters have no penalty, and the Cookie Tree pauses instead of dying. Grown-ups can use a natural stopping point such as completing one daily goal or checking one tree harvest.
Classroom ideas
- Compare upgrade costs and production rates.
- Estimate how long a goal will take at the current cookies-per-second rate.
- Discuss saving now versus spending for faster future growth.
- Use collectible rarity to introduce probability without purchases or gambling.
