How to play Cookie Garden

1. Bake your first cookies

Click the large cookie in the center of the garden. Keyboard players can focus it with Tab and press Space or Enter. Each click adds cookies to the counter at the top of the play area.

2. Recruit garden specialists

Use cookies in the shop to recruit Pip, Cora, Marina, Brio, Ember, Poppy, Captain Mallow, and Moss. Specialists bake automatically. Buying another level increases that specialist’s output, so you can keep progressing without rapid clicking.

3. Choose upgrades

Upgrades improve clicking, total production, or a specific specialist. Later upgrades deliberately become difficult to reach. Starting a fresh garden and earning Harvest Stars is part of long-term progress, not a punishment for playing slowly.

4. Complete friendly encounters

Guild members occasionally ask for help with a short timed baking task. Their portrait and request appear on screen. Completing the task earns a reward; missing it has no penalty.

5. Build your Collection

Birds, treats, and other garden visitors sometimes appear. Click one before it leaves to record it in Collections. Rare shiny versions sparkle and are tracked separately.

6. Visit the Cookie Tree

After Moss Marzipan reaches level 10, the Cookie Tree becomes available as an optional side area. Feed cookies to Moss to refill Tree Care. Berry Buttons, Moon Macarons, and Golden Acorns grow slowly while you play elsewhere or are offline. Growth pauses safely if care is empty.

7. Harvest when ready

A Harvest starts the main garden again but awards permanent Harvest Stars. Stars strengthen later runs and unlock high-level scaling. Your badges, Collection, and lifetime progress remain part of your history.
